Palesa Mofokeng
Special Needs Facilitator
Palesa
joined Pathways at the end of
2004, when we were operating
unofficially three days a week, with three pupils. Palesa previously
assisted a family with their disabled child. She was recommended
by our physiotherapist, Estelle Brown who was impressed by her ability
and enthusiasm to work with disabled children.
Palesa's thirst for knowledge and talents has meant she has gained the
necessary skills very quickly.
She enjoys the physiotherapy
activities and
always keen to
learn more. She loves give her
pupils lots of love and cuddles,
her pupils adore her. |

Caryn Conradie
Special Needs Teacher
Caryn is a qualified nursery school teacher, she joined Pathways in
February 2005, Caryn has 8 years teaching experience and 9 years
experience working with her disabled niece.
Caryn heads the Busy Bee Class,
the most challenging class at
Pathways,
Caryn is 100% committed
to her pupils and Pathways, she
enjoys the
challenge and strives
to make breakthroughs and help her
special children
reach their
highest potential. |

Mapula Ramasika
Special Needs Teacher
Mapula joined our team in
January 2009. She is qualified in
health care, public relations,
administration and educare.
Mapula
made a dramatic change in her life
5 years ago, she moved to the UK,
and found herself in the world of
special needs, she got a job
working with children and young
adults with severe autism. This
changed her life direction, she
returned to South Africa, turned
her back on the corporate world
and followed her heart and dreams
of working with children.
Mapula found her way to Pathways
Roodepoort. Mapula is gentle and
patient, she has all the skills
and the heart to work with our
special children.

Clementia Gahai
Special Needs Teacher
Clementia joined Pathways
in April 2009, she is a
qualified primary school teacher
with special needs experience.
Clementia is vibrant and bubbly,
she brings lots of colour and
fun to the team, which the
children and staff love.

Akhona Ngwadla
Special Needs Facilitator
Akhona
joined Pathways in February 2007.
Akhona has a disabled
child of her own, who attends Pathways.
Akhona
has undergone much training and
gleaned a lot of knowledge from
Pathways, which has not only has
given her the skills to be a
special needs facilitator, but it
has helped her deal with the being
a parent of a special needs child.

Julia Motshwari
Special Needs facilitatorJulia
joined Pathways in February 2008.
Julia has many years experience
stimulating and caring for
disabled children.
She has a natural
talent with special children and
is particularly interested in
the physiotherapy aspect of our program. Julia is very professional and
excels
in all aspects of her job.

Carol-Ann Le Cordeur
Special Needs facilitatorCarol
joined Pathways in September
2009. She started as a
volunteer and soon became a
permanent employee. Carol is
currently studying Early
Childhood Education and has
learnt many new skills
Carol brings lots of colour and
energy to our team. She is a big child
at heart and really
gets stuck into it with her kids,
which they love. |

Denise Mukozho
Special Needs TeacherDenise
is a qualified special needs
teacher, and is currently
studying for an honours degree
in psychology.
Denise is very professional and
efficient in her approach. She
adores her boys, and spoils them
to bits. |

Simon Molai
Driver
Simon joined our team in January
2006 as our driver, he has many
years of driving experience.
Simon
transports our
children to and from
school. He is always cheerful and
friendly and is willing to assist
us in any way.
